Prices vary and depend upon how many units are included, materials needed and price for requisite permits. We can offer a sizable discount to associations and multiple meter complexes requesting several valves.

Included is the installation of the valve, restoration of the services, inspecting for natural gas leaks inside and outside the building, serving all natural gas appliances, painting the meter assembly area and demonstrating the operation of the valve

We exclusively use The Little Firefighter valves in either vertical or horizontal models. They have a 30 year warranty

An earthquake can occur at any moment. You may be at work, away from home, or even asleep. A quick response is crucial to preventing a fire or explosion if an earthquake caused a broken gas line. An earthquake valve automatically shuts off your gas.

Valves are set to trip at a 5.4 magnitude or greater when the home is located in the epicenter.

Water heater bracing can protect it from falling over, however other unknown circumstances can cause the natural gas lines to break or leak (eg. other items falling on the gas lines, stress on the gas lines, leaks or other breaks to other natural gas appliances).

Some cities and counties throughout Southern California do require the instalation of an earthquake valve, and many more are heading in that direction.

Requirements vary by local ordinance, Also, some insurance companies are now requiring an earthquake valve installed before issuing homeowner policies
